Great Escape Colorado rocked! What a privilege it was to spend an Epic week with you in the Rockies. I just want to remind you of the five Star Blogs:
1. I too have an epic story. Not just in the future, but now – right now! In big and small ways God is ready to use me every day.
2. I can trust Jesus with it all. I may not hear from him the way I want, when I want, or how I want. But He will speak. And, even when I don’t feel as though He is there, He is. Because Jesus is not a feeling. He is a choice…a choice to step out of the boat and walk in Him one moment at a time.
3. If I don’t get it, I can’t live it. This is my critical step. Each day I have to work to get more of Him, draw closer to Him, and learn more about Him. Time in the Word and time in prayer are the steps I must commit to take consistently to get it.
4. The past does not define the future with God. Jesus could have written Peter off. He didn’t. He came back, cooked breakfast for Peter on the beach and restored His relationship with Him. Just as Jesus told Peter, He too tells me: I love you. I forgive you. I believe in you.
5. God never gives up. I am called to feed His sheep…to “Go!” Each day, look for my “to go.” Ask God what He would have of me today. And, then trust Him as I step out of the ordinary into the Epic.
